Welcome to the Sparwood Food Bank. We are a dedicated, volunteer-run organization committed to providing essential food support and hope to individuals and families facing food insecurity in the Sparwood and the surrounding area. Our mission is built on the belief that no one in our community should go hungry.

The Sparwood Food Bank's mission is to combat food insecurity and provide essential food support to families and individuals in Sparwood, BC.
We aim to ensure that no one in the community goes hungry by distributing nutritious food and other essentials.

Our vision is to create a future where every individual in the Sparwood has reliable access to nutritious food. We envision a community where food insecurity is eradicated, and all members can enjoy a sense of security and well-being.

Our Breakdown
Food Bank
A dedicated, volunteer-run organization committed to providing essential food support and hope to individuals and families facing food insecurity in the Sparwood area. Our mission is built on the belief that no one in our community should go hungry.
Food Share
The Sparwood Food Share program focuses on reducing food waste and increasing access to fresh, healthy produce. We work with local retailers and partners to rescue perishable food items, like fruits, vegetables, dairy, and baked goods, that would otherwise go to the landfill.
Toys For Tots
While food remains our primary focus, we recognize that hardship affects the entire family. The Sparwood Food Bank proudly coordinates the Toys for Tots program, offers a summer food program, and provides treats and gifts for the children of our clients during the holiday season.
