Sparwood Food Share continues to operate 364 days per year, employing 4 staff with the assistance of 8 volunteers. An amazing crew!

We average about 350 visits per month, that include our food bank clients, local seniors, and the churches.

Year to date, we have picked up 106,500 pounds of food, feeding Sparwood’s families and keeping food our of the landfill.

We only held a few “open to the public” events throughout the year and have been taking excess plant based foods to the Salvation Army in Fernie, as there is more of a demand there.

The program continues to run very well.
